PREMATURE I KNOW
but an update on nco camp!
One thing they never tell you about is the sunburn, BAD SUNBURN. i.e. put sunblock as if your life depended on it, which it probably does. Red as a badly-cooked lobster dipped in ketchup, and the peeling will start... soon.
Routine of drills, formation, concert, etc. etc, we don't get barbequed as badly as the DMs 'cause of the air-con time. But what really makes this a nice thing (and better than the ccal camp har har) are the people there. My section's pretty nice, except for a few who are i dunno? a bit stand-offish? They think i'm weird i guess haha (then again so does everyone else). Jezer's a pretty slick guy, plays well, i have to learn his... earnestness.
He's the life of our section!
Have to get closer to the rest i guess; no worries, only 3 days left.
