The past few days have been incredibly draining.
Of course my parents never spot it. Everyday rain or shine I crawl in at 7.30 as per schedule and perform the daily grind of
eatdrinkworksleepHmm let's see...
Friday was rehearsal followed by dramafeste. Rehearsal was quite... expected? I mean all that manual labour =p We didn't do anything though, besides watching the sec 4s play. And see how rg can shout louder than we can (imagine how unmanned we are haha). And we saw the japanese band, of course (short) [you can really see how i have nothing to say -.-]
Nothing much, rushed back to school to watch dramafeste, which blew me away. Buckley's one made me cry, the last scene with wangting the spastic idiot and the imaginary telephone, even if it is really cliched and angsty. I mean, g....g....g....ggg...or....g....g.....g....gg...or really reminds me of someone (a...a....aa...a...lan koh) [i cried in pity, and in shame, it was that convincing]
And zei got the most important lines in the play! yayy go zei! *waves polish flag* "IQ of less than forty-five"
Bayley's script was quite good though, but the acting wasn't, and the jokes definitely weren't. joseph sounded weird with that accent... yayy go joseph! *waves indonesian flag*. Hullett's one was really bad. Its my own house but they really were trying too hard with too little material. I mean, it seemed like Friday, without the plot (and without walter/azizul). haha if they had actually sang bohemian rhapsody (instead of lip-synching) I would be kissing their feet now though...
Went outside, hugged a few people (ow), then went to j8 with ngiam and other People.
Saturday was Big Concert.
1. the japanese band is pro. they have a thirteen-year-old saxophonist (ask jeremy about the thirteen-year-old saxophonist)
2. they have a thirteen-year-old xylophonist on which I have a big crush on. kizuna nakamura, with the hair and the glasses. (she looks butch but who cares =p)
3. vch is a small place, especially if you have 150+ people crammed backstage. one changing room for three sections, i.e. 20 people.
4. my japanese isn't that bad after all (great. second thoughts about quitting now)
5. rimb is best at manual labour. the roads were closed 'cause of ndp preview, meaning that the bus had to stop at the fullerton hotel. (imagine, with chimes, bass drum, timpani and assorted heavy stuff =p)
6. paul lost his clarinet >><<
7. we had fun singing chisa na sekai xD
8. rimb rocks
