i guess by now you must know that most of the things i say here are false, and those that are true aren't completely true either.
i remember saying something about needing something more in life besides that i already lead.
after talking to my elder sister (=p), i've decided that i'm going to give everything for band. at the expense of most things. science club is fun and all with the questions, but frankly i don't feel the same for it as i ever did for band. the exhilaration of say, sweeping nus physics open house comes nowhere near that of clinching that gold with honours.
its about pride. in sec one there was zhong ye, and he showed me what a band was. yeah seniors do make a massive difference. then i saw rgs during their concert and it confirmed what he told me. now when i look at our band it seems like there's something missing, something fatally flawed. its like a few heat tiles fall off upon takeoff and before you know it the space shuttle's blown into smithereens.
i'm not going to stand by and let this happen to us, 'cause we must do something to stop it before we really die. and we let mr oura down.
it comes of three and a half years of rafflesian education, yeah. every little thing we did just served to prove that in the end it is not the paper you remember but how you got that paper and who you got the paper with.
let's be honest. we're not doing well, and its not just the sec ones' fault. its this malaise that has afflicted every single one of us, that saps energy and drains the will. we need to do something. i will do something
i know i haven't been really on these few months. now i've realised where my priorities stand, and i ask you to give me another chance. its quite probable that i won't be able to do anything at all but in the end i'll think back and remember that at least we tried.
